The Kentucky Middle School Football Association (“KYMSFA”) was formed in 2008 to provide an organization through which middle school football coaches could work together with mutual respect and cooperation to improve middle school football in the Commonwealth. The KYMSFA provides a forum for communication, training and educational offerings, establishes a standard set of rules, coordinates a championship playoff structure and provides other benefits requested by the membership.
The Association is a voluntary nonprofit 501 3(c) organization made up of public and private member middle school football programs comprised of credited or accredited public or private middle or elementary school(s) (6th, 7th, or 8th grade) within the Commonwealth of Kentucky.

Mini Camps will start in October in each 10U Region. We will post the details for each on once we have them lined up. Most mini camps will be on Sundays. These will be like the summer combine camps, but no combine portion. Helmet only. Cost $30.00 You will need to register online and can pay online or at camp.
10U Tryouts – East & West Tryouts will happen for each team TENTATIVELY Sunday November 2nd. These will be in FULL PADS. Cost $50.00 You will need to register online and can pay online or at tryout. –See 10U Team Kentucky Page
Middle School Team Tryouts and Events
6th/7th/8th grade post season teams (see Battle of Regions, All Star Classic and Team Kentucky pages for details)
Tryouts – Sunday November 9th at Meece Middle School in Somerset KY. FULL EQUIPMENT - 8th grade will be in AM, 6th & 7th in the PM. We will post details and flyers next week, with the registration link. Cost is $50.00 and can pay online or at Tryout, but you must register online for tryout and fill out tryout info form.
FBU Team Kentucky Selections November 10th – 13th - First Practice Sunday November 16th in Lexington.
All Star Classic Selections start November 17th – 27th – ASC starts Friday, November 28th in Winchester KY
Cheerleaders – Details on your events are coming very soon.
KYMSFA is offering up an opportunity for that favorite football player, team manager, ball boy cheerleader, or coach in your life to get some recognition with a player shout out (similar to those done at football games and in year books.)
Weekly KYMSFA will post a slideshow of the player shout outs for that week for everyone to enjoy on our social media outlets. Shout outs will cost $5.00 each (payable on PayPal only), with the proceeds going to help fund KYMSFA operations for the 2025-2026 season.
